SOULCORE LEADER – ROSE

Hi my name is Rose Chicoine- Hartung. I am a wife and mother I was born and raised in Ankeny, Iowa with my three sisters being raised as devout Catholics attending Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart Church. I have been singing the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and cantering in church since I was a child. I love praying by song and music. The Rosary was always a tool we used to pray as children. As an adult after having my first child my husband Brian and I experienced several miscarriages. It was during this time that my true devotion and relationship with Mary grew. The Rosary was a spiritually healing prayer and meditation. It is the tool that brought me closer in relationship with Jesus Christ.

After our second child was born I began to pray the rosary while trying to run. It was painful and difficult to stay with the meditation- but I continued on connecting the exercise and prayer together. SoulCore fell into my lap as I was pregnant with my third child. I was pregnant during Advent and my relationship with Mary was truly soaring. I had surrendered all that I had over to Jesus Christ though Mary. Through my whole pregnancy, for about a year, SoulCore knocked on my heart. I felt called and shortly after delivering I ordered the DVDS. The first time I practiced a SoulCore I called my friend and said “we need this, I don’t know if I am qualified but we need this.” Well God doesn’t call the qualified he qualifies the called. Becoming a SoulCore Leader has fallen into my life in such a beautiful way. It was divine intervention! I am so incredibly blessed to be able to share this amazing way to pray with others.

As a hair stylist I desire and strive to make other people feel good- both spiritually and physically. I have lasting relationships with my clients that are built through deep open conversations. So through the prayer and movement of SoulCore I am fulfilling this desire to serve other people, to make them feel good both physically and spiritually, and to bring our beautiful Blessed Mother and Jesus her son to so many people! I am able to help serve as a tool that draws people in closer relationship with Christ while meditating on the Rosary and stretching and strengthening our bodies.
