My name is Melanie Davis and I am a School Psychologist working as the Director of Student Services at Central Catholic Jr. Sr. High School in Lafayette, Indiana. My husband and I have been married for 31 years and we have four children, three boys and a girl, whose ages range from 28 down to 21 years old. I have two grandchildren, Leroy age 3 and Hazel, age 1 1/2. My second daughter in line, Elaine, is getting married in November and our family is enjoying every minute of the wedding preparations. We have a lot of excitement and many blessings to be grateful for in our lives. I surround myself with scripture and quotes in my office that remind me of who I am and where I need to be.
A FEW OF MELANIE’S FAVORITE VERSES AND QUOTES:
“The world offers you comfort. But you were not made for comfort, you were made for greatness.” Pope Benedict XVI
“Nothing great is ever achieved without much enduring.” St. Catherine of Siena”
“All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” St. Francis of Assisi
