SOULCORE LEADER – SUSAN

I am the middle child in a family of 6 girls. I was raised in the Catholic church but fell away from it in my early twenties. When my 2 boys were born they were baptized, received their First Penance, First Holy Communion and Confirmation in the same church I grew up in. They are in their early twenties now and I am so proud of both of them that they are sticking with it, unlike myself at their age. I just had the absolute pleasure of watching my oldest marry his lovely wife and my husband be baptized and received into full communion with the Catholic Church in that same church as well.

As I continue to grow in the Catholic faith I am always amazed at the graces I am given and the ways in which God brings me closer to Him. Our Catholic faith is so rich and wonderful. I fall more in love with it and the ways we are able to worship God through it every day. And of course our Blessed Mother is always there to guide us and keep us close to her son Jesus. Your ministry of Soul Core has really touched my heart. It’s just one more grace I feel extremely blessed to have been introduced to. I am excited to be able to share it with others.

My goal in life is to love people into the Catholic faith – helping them see the truth and beauty of what God has revealed to us through scripture, tradition and approved private revelation. If I can help someone find even a fraction of the love and joy I have found as I’ve grown closer to God, the Holy Spirit, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and His blessed Mother (and our Mother) then my life will be truly fulfilled. SoulCore is yet another avenue to make a real difference in people’s lives.
