SOULCORE LEADER – PAT

Pat Backe is a mature fitness and group exercise instructor with over 20 years of teaching experience. She is a Polestar Pilates Instructor and as a Master Instructor has led leadership and group classes in FallProof Balance and Mobility Training (Dr. Debra Rose, UCF – University of California, Fullerton) Aqua Aerobics, Spinning, Yoga, and Personal Training. She completed the Camino de Santiago Frances last August which was a 37 day, 500 plus mile pilgrimage of the Way of St. James (the lesser), and prayed the rosary daily as she walked.

Her approach to teaching is to create a fun, safe and effective class, where all fitness levels are included and encouraged. Pat owned her own personal fitness and Pilates studio (Kingstowne Pilates) in Alexandria, VA before moving to Hampton, VA in 2018. While in Hampton she taught spinning, total fitness and personal training at the Ft. Monroe, YMCA.

Now living in Stallings, NC, Pat teaches AquaFit at her community pool and is excited to embark on teaching SoulCore classes both at her home studio and at St. Luke Catholic Church in Mint Hill, NC. The SoulCore Retreat and physical certification process has allowed me to blend my physical teaching with my deep love of the Blessed Mother as an intercessor for us to her beloved Son, Jesus Christ.
