Francine and her husband, Jude, married in 1989 in Warren, PA at the church where they met in 8th grade CCD class. They have six children and in 2025, their growing family more than doubled in size, to 17, with the blessing of their sixth grandchild.

Her husband’s U.S. Army career eventually led them to Ft. Richardson, Alaska, in 2004. They settled in nearby Palmer and joined St. Michael Catholic Church. After his retirement, they remained in Palmer where they continue to raise their family and actively participate in St. Michael’s parish life and ministries. Volunteering at the Palmer Veterans & Pioneers Home when there is mass and visiting with the residents has a special place in her heart. Francine cherishes her 26 years as a home educator and gratefully continues the homeschool journey with their youngest who is in high school. Treasured time for Francine is spent with family. She enjoys year-round outdoor recreation, especially hiking, kayaking, biking, and classic Nordic skiing.

Francine marvels at the unexpected way God brought SoulCore into her life. It was an answer to a prayer, one she contemplated for almost two years – finding a way to combine faith and fitness and to share it with others. In February 2024, God revealed SoulCore to Francine through a book review written by one of its co-founders. Not familiar with SoulCore, Francine found their website and learned it was a Marian apostolate. Enthusiastically she added an online SoulCore led Rosary to her day, always looking forward to the next day’s Rosary and exercises. The Rosary came to life as she meditated on the lives of Jesus and our Blessed Mother through each decade’s sacred mystery and virtue. She embraced the stillness and quiet that accompanied the meditations and the strengthening, stretching, and functional movements that fed her body, mind, and soul. Four months after her initial curiosity led her to SoulCore, Francine felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to register for a SoulCore Discovery Retreat. She feels tremendously blessed to bring SoulCore to Alaska. She invites you to join her for SoulCore, a time to share faith and fitness – the answer to her prayer.
