Sue has been a pediatric physical therapist for 24 years and recently opened up a private women’s wellness practice (https://specialsettingspt.com) to encourage all her clients’ moms and friends to take self-care seriously. Sue converted to Catholicism in 1999 prior to marrying her husband, Gregg. She is mom to 3 boys, Andrew, James, and John, and enjoys watching them participate in sports, and lifting weights in the home-gym with them. She likes going camping with her family and spending time on the lake in the upper Peninsula of Michigan with them in the summers. She enjoys showing people how to fall in love with Jesus, and began her ministry with leading Catechesis of the Good Shepherd classes and children’s church, when her three boys were young. Now, she is an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, and a small group facilitator of Proclaim My Word Bible Study, and belongs to a small faith group with her husband, Gregg. She enjoys going to Adoration, planning women’s retreats, attending silent retreats, and relaxing in her infrared sauna for Centering Prayer andreflecting on God’s Word.
Sue discovered SoulCore on a retreat she attended, and was so inspired by it, that when she got home, she gathered friends locally and online to join her in praying and moving their bodies with a SoulCore membership and DVDs. She loves to help women learn how to incorporate breathing, alignment, stretching and strengthening while praying. She’s shared SoulCore on her deck, and in her parish hall at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in a safe socially-distant way. Sue starts each class with a special instruction to practice throughout the session utilizing her experience of healing to help participants gain strength and prevent future injuries. Sue is excited to share SoulCore with the North Atlanta area and help others know who and Whose they are as they exercise heart, body, mind and soul in a community of loving women!
