NICKY VERNA

Nicky Verna is a Catholic wife to her husband, Deacon Tom, and mother to four young adult children. Nicky is a daily communicant and is very active in her parish, where she serves as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist and Lector and also facilitates the Adult Faith Study Program. She received her Masters in Theology from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary School of Theological Studies in May, 2020. She serves as a board member for AbbeyFest Faith and Music Festival as well as serves on the planning committee for the Catholic Women’s Conference for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Nicky is a member of the Unbound Prayer Ministry for the Archdiocese (Unbound – Queen of the Rosary). She has been a fitness instructor since 1990, leading classes in a variety of formats including Pilates, aquatics, Zumba, Pound, senior fitness and as of 2018, has been a SoulCore leader.
