Meet SoulCore Leader – Betsy
Betsy is happily married to her husband, Ken, and they have two teenage sons; Charlie and Oliver. Betsy and her family are Holy Spirit at Geist parishioners and the boys attend Cathedral high school in Indianapolis. Betsy works as a dermatology physician assistant and is also involved in the life teen ministry at her parish. Betsy has always enjoyed fitness pursuits, finding herself most at balance in life when body, mind and spirit are all being equally challenged and fed. In SoulCore she has found that balance in one beautiful activity. Betsy has found that one can enter more deeply into prayer when the body is also engaged. This engagement found in SoulCore allows the participant to shut out other “worldly” thoughts as there is only room in the mind for the movement, prayer, and connection to God and each other.
