Only the Rosary can change the course of History. This is the urgent message the Virgin Mary, Mother of God, gives to humanity again and again throughout the ages.

Talk about ardent prayer, we see example after example of how the rosary has changed the course of history and has been instrumental in victories such as the battle of Muret (1213), and the Battle of Lepanto (10/7/1571). In fact, that is why Pope St. Pius V instituted the feast of the Most Holy Rosary, also called feast of Our Lady of Victories, on that day.

Our Lady of Fatima (1917) urgently requested the Rosary to be prayed each day to save souls from hell. The Allied victory of the Second Battle of the Marne (near Paris) during the WWI (July 18, 1918) was also attributed to an intervention of Our Lady. And then there was the liberation of Austria from the threat of Communism in 1947…

We don’t even know all the ways Our Lady has intervened on our behalf, but we can be certain the rosary is in fact a most powerful weapon!

THE ROSARY IS OUR SPIRITUAL WEAPON OF MASS DESTRUCTION AGAINST SATAN

Pope Pius XI tells us, “The Rosary is a powerful weapon to put the demons to flight and to keep oneself from sin…If you desire peace in your hearts, in your homes, and in your country, assemble each evening to recite the Rosary. Let not even one day pass without saying it, no matter how burdened you may be with many cares and labors.” 

THERE IS NO PROBLEM THAT CANNOT BE SOLVED BY THE PRAYER OF THE HOLY ROSARY

Our Lady of Fatima said “The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the Rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families…that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.”

One evening, when going to sleep, Saint Padre Pio asked one of the brothers in his community: “Please, give me the weapon that is in your pocket…” Slightly dismayed, the brother searches his pocket obediently, without finding any such thing. “Father, I do not have a weapon in my pocket, just some rosary beads,” he said. “And you think the Rosary is not a weapon?” the future saint asked.
