Meet SoulCore Leader – Mary
FANTASTIC FOR HEALING!
SoulCore was brought to my parish by a beautiful lady who then moved away. Thankfully, a very dear friend, Paula, who’d been an exercise class leader for decades joined me in becoming certified. More recently, Gina (who is also a very special friend!) has become certified, and invited me to join her on a Marian pilgrimage to Lourdes, Fatima & numerous other sites! Sharing the responsibility and privilege has made hosting regular classes possible so we can take vacations and the personal days off as needed.
Typically we have eight participants at each class, but there’s room for 50, so spread the word!
In 2023, I was diagnosed with breast cancer, and went through a mastectomy, chemo & radiation. Was it ever awesome to have this core group of Rosary praying friends to exercise body, mind and soul with 2 times every single week! I followed doctor’s orders, but missed very few classes and am thoroughly convinced of God’s grace helping me through that chapter. I was able to modify push ups and planks, and inserted a few physical therapy recommendations, as I often reminded others to do.
Another faith-filled friend joined us in a chair and with her oxygen concentrator after getting out of ICU. What a valiant woman! She’s off oxygen and still coming for the prayers, the movements and the fellowship. Many who attend are active in their own ministries.
Colleen and Deanne have begun something beautiful for God, to Jesus through Mary, and I am filled with joy and awe! I’ve chosen this picture because it was taken during that cancer battle. John is my dear husband of 40 years and we have 4 married children and 9 grandchildren.
A Few of Mary’s Favorite Scripture Verses:

Meet SoulCore Leader – Paula
I’m married and a grandmother of 4 wonderful grandchildren. I’m a mother of one son and two daughters. I enjoy bike riding long distances outside. I’ve been an exercise instructor for low impact aerobic and weight training. I enjoy being with others and I really love my church family. And exercising in my church.
A Few of Paula’s Favorite Scripture Verses:
Psalm 139:13, Matthew 11:28-30
