Marie has been married to her husband Bryan for over 7 years. She enjoys being active and playing any type of game with her family and friends. She loves staying home with her three children- Luke (5), Drew (3), and Claire (1)- and volunteering at the school. Marie and her family have been parishioners of SLDM for over 5 years. Marie is very active with the Mothers of Young Children and Christ Renews His Parish ministries and is so excited to grow the ministry of SoulCore at SLDM. She knew she was being called to become a SoulCore leader when she first met Colleen and heard her story and the inspiration behind SoulCore. She is passionate about her Catholic faith and is drawn to learning and growing more in the teachings of the Theology of the Body and cultivating a deeper devotion to Mary. She feels so blessed by SoulCore- “It is such a beautiful expression of prayer providing countless opportunities to grow closer in relationship with Jesus and our Blessed Mother, all the while being formed into what God created me to be.”

Erin lives in Fishers, IN with her husband Steven and three children (Elijah, Sophia and Gabriella). Erin has been a member of SLDM parish since the summer of 2010, when she and Steven moved to Indiana from Phoenix, AZ. Erin grew up in the midwest but lived in Phoenix for 5 years to pursue a doctorate degree in Chemistry. She’s glad she did, as the Lord led her to her husband Steven out in Arizona. Now, Erin is blessed to teach Chemistry online classes part-time through Ivy Tech while raising her children at home. Her oldest will start school at SLDM in the fall 2016.
Erin met Deanne and Colleen a couple years ago when they visited SLDM Mother’s of Young Children ministry as guest speakers. Since first meeting, she has been completely inspired by their story and journey with SoulCore. Erin has a new love of the rosary and wishes to deepen her relationship with Jesus through Mary with this ministry. She’s looking forward to helping Marie at SLDM and sharing her love of SoulCore with others.

Jackie has been married to Mike for 28 years and they have 2 sons. Joey and Matt. The family also has a very spoiled golden retriever named Jimmy.
Since being introduced to SOULCORE via the DVD’s and the occasional ‘live’ class, Jackie has been amazed at the centeredness and peace that she feels while doing the prayerful movement. Not only does she hope to continue to build on that peace, but, in becoming a leader, share that opportunity with others.
Our world is so often hectic and tense, it is wonderful to lift those cares to God and Our Lady via the rosary. By doing the rosary with the physical movement, there is no time to allow the mind to wander to the day to day cares and tasks. For those brief 45-50 minutes, a sense of calm and communication are felt.
A FEW OF JACKIE’S FAVORITE SCRIPTURE VERSES:
1 Corinthians 2:3-5; Mark 9:23; Isaiah 40:31; Romans 15:13; Jude 1:2
We will be focusing on the sorrowful mysteries. This will be an excellent opportunity to enrich your Lenten journey this year.

Betsy is happily married to her husband, Ken, and they have two spirit filled boys; Charlie and Oliver. Betsy and her family are Holy Spirit at Geist parishioners and the boys attend Our Lady of Grace grade school. Betsy works part time as a dermatology physician assistant and feels blessed to spend the rest of her time at home with her family. Betsy has always enjoyed fitness pursuits, finding herself most at balance in life when body, mind and spirit are all being equally challenged and fed. In SoulCore she has found that balance in one beautiful activity. Betsy has found that one can enter more deeply into prayer when the body is also engaged. This engagement found in SoulCore allows the participant to shut out other “worldly” thoughts as there is only room in the mind for the movement, prayer, and connection to God and each other.

Matthew 17:20; Matthew 6:25-27
