I have been married to my husband Dave for 38 years and we have three grown children. We share our lives between our home in Findlay, Ohio, and our cabin in the mountains of Southern Wyoming.
Born in Ohio and raised Catholic, I’ve always been familiar with the rosary. But not until I read the book, Left to Tell by Immaculee Ilibagiza did I really discover the beauty of the rosary and the powerful messages Mary sent from heaven for all of us to hear. Now, the rosary is my constant companion. The rhythm of the rosary tells the story of Jesus. As you pray the rosary you begin to feel how Mary ponders these events in her heart. SoulCore taught me that each mystery of the rosary has an associated virtue for us to carry out in our lives. There is so much in the Rosary!
My favorite Mystery of the Rosary is The Visitation, when Mary travels to help her cousin Elizabeth. Service to others is close to my heart.
My favorite words from the Bible: “Be Not Afraid!”
