Meet SoulCore Leader – Melody

Melody and her husband, Chris, have been married for 25 years with eight wonderful children. Her lifelong interest in fitness, combined with a desire for Christ-centered ways to strengthen and renew the whole person, integrate perfectly with the SoulCore mission. After experiencing a profound loss and subsequent limitations due to chronic illness, Melody found healing through God’s natural gifts and experienced a restoration of mind and body by honoring His design. Her first book, The Sunshine Principle: A Radically Simple Guide to Natural Catholic Healing, tells the story of that journey.

The secular world offers many non-Christian resources… and yet an authentic healing of mind, body, and spirit are found only in the heart of Jesus Christ through intercession of His beautiful Mother. SoulCore was an answer to Melody’s prayer, and is a consolation that she hopes to extend to others in her role as a leader.

A Few of Melody’s Favorite Scripture Verses:

Matthew 17: 6-8; Philippians 4:6-9; John 5:6-9; Luke 1: 46-55

Meet SoulCore Leader – Anastasia

Anastasia is about to graduate high school with an Associate’s degree in Theology at Holy Apostles College and Seminary and plans to continue her studies there for her BA. She is one of eight kids in an amazing Catholic household and is deeply in love with Christ. She very much enjoys being active through volleyball, ninja warrior, hiking, and kayaking.

The pursuit of truth and goodness necessitates both intellectual and physical strength, and SoulCore offered her an incredible way to incorporate these two, as it strengthens and heals the soul just as much as it does the body. By presenting this full vision of the human person SoulCore gives her the ability to build up and participate in an authentic and loving community of people who desire to give themselves completely to Jesus through Mary.

A Few of Anastasia’s Favorite Scripture Verses:

1 Corinthians 13:4-8, Psalm 1:1-3, Psalm 119, Mathew 5:11-12, Luke 1:46-56
