Hello, my name is Johna. My husband, Chuck, and I just celebrated our 40th anniversary. We have 4 married children and 11 grandchildren. I have been a fitness instructor for nearly 35 years and was Fitness Coordinator at our local YMCA for 18 years. I have taught many, many different formats over the years from cardio (dancing, step, spinning, etc.) to flexibility (pilates, yogafit, Silver Sneakers, etc.) to strength (bootcamp, Pump, and more) but none have been more special and just plain beautiful as SoulCore. The combination of strength and flexibility exercise with the beauty of the rosary is soul-satisfying. It brings such a sense of peace after working and stretching and really challenging yourself and at the same time letting the prayer fill the soul. I often think “how did I not find this before?” 🙂
I was a ccd teacher and Youth Ministry Director for many years and enjoy being active in our parish. I especially enjoy many different ways of devotion to our Blessed Mother, who has been very good to me, guiding me always, so this exercise is a perfect “fit” !
