Meet SoulCore Leader – Debra
Debra Tucci Twigg is a Catholic wife, proud mother of 2 and grandmother of 3 teenagers (each one taller than she is!). Debra and her husband, Tom, attend St. Katharine Drexel in Frederick, MD and are fortunate to consider Mother Seton Shrine in Emmitsburg their local church. She has volunteered in the Catholic community as an ecumenical minister, catechist and spiritual director. She is currently an Aspirant in the Secular Order of the Discalced Carmelites.
Debra currently teaches chair and floor exercises to dementia and memory care patients, helping to ensure their safety with the freedom of movement, designed for each level of ability. Debra’s teaching is based on the miracle of the body and how healing is multidimensional and essential to building and sustaining strength and independence in sickness and in health.
To Debra, SOULCORE is an invitation to integrate body and soul in prayer, fully orienting the heart and mind toward Christ, while discovering the beauty of the rosary. It is a gentle path to grow in virtue, interior peace and strength.
